There's a new Castle in Town!
Castle Corner, cracked his maiden win just a few days ago at the Vaal after running ultra consistent in his previous runs. However he now has a new stablemate named CASTLETOWN, who won first time out, and race full of merit. He is a beautifully bred son of Silvano and is looking for classic distances. So this win over 1200m would suggest that he has some natural class and talent. It will be exciting to see how he progresses and matures.
The stable is only able to acquire horses like this with the support and backing of owners. He was went through the ring at a price of R500 000, but with the stable adamant on this being the pick of the sale, owners Campbell, Jackson, Kung and Valjalo put their money down for the exceptionally turned out youngster bred by Wilgerbosdrift and Mauritzfontein. The owners were fortunate enough to be at the track to lead him in, along with some or the Mordt family. Everyone was extremely happy and enthusiastic about the win, and hopefully the fun may continue.
Thanking the sponsor once again for their support - HOLLYWOODBETS.
