IMPERIAL MASTER ends the Highveld season on a high!

The stable could not have asked for a better way to end of the season with a winner. It was the last race for the Highveld season that had IMPERIAL MASTER work hard to close in on the leader and follow through when it counted to win by just over half a length. It can easily be stated that it was a win well overdue for the 3-year-old gelding that is now a 2 time winner from his 12 starts. He has always been very consistent and has had some nice form lines to follow.

It was a very game ride by champion jockey, Lyle Hewitson. Lyle is not synonymous with the stable, but a jockey was needed and he is not one to pass up on. Well done to him for the confident ride. In the post race interview, it was Lyle's opinion that there would hopefully be a "few more in the tank". It seems like he is maturing with age, and if he is handicapped well enough he should stay competitive in the new season.

Well done to the owners, Mr Ivan Snyman and Ryan Pettigrew and the stable is always grateful for all the support.

Well done to the sponsors - HOLLYWOODBETS.
