Bold Fortune continues to impress with Grade 2 Success!

A hat-trick of wins, including a Grade 3 and a Grade 2, what more can you ask for from a filly! BOLD FORTUNE won her 5th career race on Tuesday and adding to her bold black type form. The Grade 2 Ipi Tombe Challange was by far her toughest challenge yet, but the 4-year-old Flower Ally filly is game, tough and loves to win!

Diego De Gouveia, who gets on so well with the filly had stated in the post race interview that they were placed further back than expected and with a sedate gallop halfway through the race, it was evident that the filly would need to be at her best to win. With such a great turn of foot, the filly found herself right in the race on the outside rail, and when Diego asked the question it was go time! She also needed to do it the hard way by needing to shoulder 60kg and give weight away to some very decent 3-year-olds. The Narrow Creek bred filly just keeps improving with age and experience, and whether a Grade 1 is on the cards, only time will tell. What is known though is that the filly shows a lot of heart and all connections will be excited to see how her career progresses.

The owners were fortunate enough to all be on course to lead the filly into the winners enclosure. A great bunch of owners who love and enjoy their racing and put so much support into the industry and specifically the yard. The filly race's in the Willem Ackerman silks, a relatively new owner in the industry who has already enjoyed Grade 2 success, which is well deserved after what he has bought and spent at a variety of sales over the past few years, it is now time to reap some of the rewards. Fellow partners are Mark Campbell and Anton Marx, both staunch supporters of the stable and such a pleasure to have them involved in Graded race success, it's always great to see the love for racing rewarded.

Thanks to the sponsor once again - HOLLYWOODBETS for their continued support.
