Back to back wins for Admiral Dooley.

ADMIRAL DOOLEY decided to do it the hard way and go off to the front in his first post maiden run. With a well timed and patient ride from Kabelo Matsunyane, it was in front where the 3-year-old stayed by fighting off all challenges and notching up his second victory from his 8 career starts.

This was the Soft Falling Rain colt's first run out the maidens when winning that start back in October. The first handicaps run can always be a bit daunting as you can get a much better judgement of how the horse has and will continue to progress or not in their career, the young gelding obviously came through the race with flying colours. He is probably not going to hollywood, but he is a strong handy galloper and looks like he could remain quite competitive for a while if the handicapping treats him well. Kabelo also seems to get along with him well as they have earned a stake for each ride.

It is another winner for the familiar colours of Mr Ian van Schalkwyk. Mr van Schalkwyk has had an incredible strike rate this season. With the solely owned horses their have been a total of 11 runs since August. The collective of these runs includes the following:

-5 wins,

-3 seconds,

-2 thirds,

-1 fourth.

Meaning every runner has earned a cheque! These exclude horses in partnership where Mr van Schalkwyk has been able to enjoy further success. A very loyal supporter of the industry and these type of stats are well deserved! A very big well done!

Thanking the sponsor once again for their on-going support - HOLLYWOODBETS.
