4 in a row for Bold Fortune!

BOLD FORTUNE impressed once again by getting her nose down on the line and give her 4 straight wins in a row, two of them being Graded races. This very progressive 4-year-old filly is now a 6 time winner from her 13 starts.

This pinnacle stakes race was a race to bring her on to be in peak condition for her next aimed feature, this being the Grade 3 Acacia Stakes to be run on the 5th of February at Turffontein. The fact that she was 85% ready makes her gutsy win even more impressive. Hopefully she will be cherry ripe for here next targeted race and can add another black type win to her career.

Diego de Gouveia has always got on exceptionally well with the Flower Alley filly, partnering with her in 5 of her 6 victories. There is no doubt he will be going into her next race positive of another honest run. This will be the same scenario for the owners in partnership with the filly, Mr Willem Ackerman, Mark Campbell and Anton Marx. Congratulations to them again and long may the enjoyment of owing a quality filly like this continue.

On the day, the stable's 3-year-old filly, Follow Me ran in an earlier race. She finished 3rd and beaten just over 3 lengths. She was also coming into the race as a prep for her main target on the 5th of February, this being the Grade 2 Gauteng Fillies Guineas. She has always been well above average and is capable of winning a race of that nature. She would have come on a lot from the run and will hopefully be ready to give it her all in the feature.
