A treble at Turffies!

A combination of upcoming and hard knocking horses helped to conclude a perfect day for the stable, three winners from three runners!

Race 4 is where the day started, who in her own right, also landed her own treble. ANYTHING GOES, remains unbeaten in her third start to date. She has been marked as a very smart filly since day one, and each time she has been taken to the track, she never ceases to disappoint. The most exciting part about this 2-year-old Var filly is that there is still so much more too come. She seems to be still showing signs of being immature and still has so much to learn. As Diego De Gouveia stated, the penny has not dropped yet and when it does, she will be showing her class. A great ride by Diego who has been with the filly since her first victory.

Well done to owners, Mr Ian van Schalkwyk and Mr Anton Marx. Long time supporters of the stable and it's great to see them own such an exciting filly. Her 3-year-old career will be much anticipated and will be taken one race at a time.

Later in the day, the hard knocking SOLDIER ON, ran up to his name and notched up his seventh career win. He had lost a bit of form and went through a rough patch, however is run prior to this win showed some good improvement. With a glimpse of his form back and super low galloping weight, this put him into the race with good each way chances. Young apprentice Mxoli assisting in getting to the 48kg he was carrying. It was a good and patient ride by the youngster and seems like he could be the type to get along with the mature gelding. With him coming back to some form and finding the right type of races, connections would not be surprised to see him in the winners box again.

Thanks to Mr Terry Kung for the support, who also bred the gelding by Brave Tin Soldier.

The lucky last was where it all needed to come together. It was left up to the very fancied IMPERIAL MASTER. The young 2-year-old colt by Master Of My Fate had such a promising first run, it was this and the combination of him coming on a lot from that during would that gave the stable all the confidence.

He is the type with a lot of scope, when he turns three, he would have matured and strengthened up and would definitely be looking for more ground. It will be interesting to see how well he progresses during his early career. Once again, his path will be taken one race at a time.

Well done to the Snyman family and Pettigrew family, close ties to the stable as an owner makes the win even more exciting.

A stable having three winners on a day is never easy, what what makes it even possible is because of the support of the owners and Pettigrew racing team that has given the support by buying some quality horses.

More importantly it is about the patience that everyone, and the industry as a whole was able to provide through this year. It may still be a long year ahead, but with the season over for the stable, now would be the right time to acknowledge all the support and hope for the best in the new season.

May the new season go from strength to strength.

Thanking HOLLYWOODBETS for their on-going support throughout the season!
