Anything goes at Turffontein

With an unfortunate dampen over Turffontein by the adsense of spectators and supporters of the game, the stable is trying to look at the positive at this time.

There could be nothing more positive and promising than having ANYTHING GOES, win going away in her first outing at the course. The stable has been going through a bit of a dry spell and it was difficult to go into the race with any confidence but he work at home had showed that she is an above average filly and it was great to see her bring her work to the course!

Well done to long time supporters of the yard, Mr Ian van Schalkwyk and Mr Anton Marx. It is always difficult to access the progression of a horse immediately after a maiden win, but we are hoping the the young Var filly can continue to strengthen and improve with experience and give the connections something to look forward too in the near future.

The stable is hoping that this may be a small turning point in the current form of the stable and that things may start to improve.

With regards to the current situation at hand, COVID-19, it is currently business as usual but we will be ensuring our staff are supported by taking precausionary measures where possible.
