Perfect double at the Vaal!

The first two races at the Vaal yesterday were crowned by the stable and a memorable moment was recorded.

The first race had BELLE VIEW always in with a chance. Although she has been inconsistent at times, the stable knew that if she put it all together she would be in with a winning chance. With a well timed and patient ride, she came from off the pace at the right time and won going away at the finish. She is definitely not going to hollywood, but a post maiden run will give a good indication going forward and with the right type of race she could win another. Well done to Mr Mike Winstanley, a long time patron of the stable.

Race two followed on and completed the double. Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene du Monaco Grimaldi celebrated her very first winner when the very consistent BELLA ROSA also won a good race going away. The 3-year-old filly by Count Dubois has shown signs of being green and inexperienced, but continues to improve with every run. This was also done the hard way as she took on the boys, but proved to strong. With a lot of improvement to come, it will be exciting to see how she continues progress. Congratualtions to Mr Mike Wittstock, who was on course to lead in his daughters horse. Mike has been an avid supporter of the stable and all the support from the family is appreciated.

The stable has still had a relitively low amount of runners for the season, but as it continues, the younger strong will start stepping out and hopefully keep up a high win/place percentage!

Thanking the sponsor for their support - HOLLYWOODBETS.
