Another win for Mr Veeramootoo!

CALLMEWHENUNEEDME notched up her first career victory at the third time of asking. This followed two very good runs against some promising Juvenille fillies.

The Master Of My Fate filly showed connections a lot of potential since day one and came to the course on all occasions with the intent of winning. It was evident that the filly was rather green and inexperienced in her first two efforts, but still managed to show some nice ability and came on from each run, gaining some valuable experience.

This run was the perfect opportunity to shed her maiden win and she did so with a game effort. Diego de Gouveia was aboard for the first time. He was able to jump the filly out the gates very well and showed a lot of speed from the get go and was able to stride along freely.

It was a hot pace and Diego just guided the filly along until the closing stage. She hit the front a long way out but had some challengers. She was able to fend them all off and ended up winning by a margin of 0,75 lengths.

This run would have brought the filly along even further. With the continued experience, maturity and potentially a step up in trip, Mr Vicky Veeramootoo may have another well above average filly to own. A big congratulations to Mr Veeramootoo. The stable continues to value the support.
