Hollywood Syndicate in the winners box!
It was a perfect ending to a fantastic first month of the 2022-2023 season. HOLLYWOODBETS, the stable's loyal sponsor had one of their own, QUEEN OF SMOKE enter the winner's box at the Vaal on Tuesday in the popular yellow and purple silks! QUEEN OF SMOKE came into the race as a solid and deserved favourite after a decent 2nd place in her penultimate run. This was only the third run of her career so the only probable worry may have been her inexperience, but the gusty Gimmeth

Tulip Tree gets it right!
TULIP TREE was the stable's only runner to hit the track on Thursday at Turffontein and she was up to the task of keeping the fabulous form the stable has been on, making this the 7th winner for the Month of August! The lightly raced 3-year-old filly was odds on favourite and a deserved one with her form leading up to the race providing that she was due for this win. Her two previous runs only narrowly being beaten with two 2nd place finishes. Regular pilot, Raymond Danielson

6th winner for the month!
ADMIRAL DOOLEY fought on to get his nose down on the line when it counted most! ADMIRAL DOOLEY has always been a stable favourite when it comes to consistency. The lightly raced 4-year-old gelding has notched up his 4th career win from just 13 starts. In every race to date he has never been further than a few lengths off if not winning! Young Kabelo Matsunyane has been the regular pilot aboard him and as a pair they seem to gel so well together. With the knowledge of knowing

Castle Corner finds the winners box again!
CASTLE CORNER found his way back to the winners box and notching up to his 3rd career victory! Early on in his career he was as consistent as they come, racking up a number of 2nd's before his maiden win. His post maiden run was an obvious test to see if he would progress at all on the basis that it took him so long to win his first race. The gutsy Ideal World gelding followed it up with another win and looked like he would be the type to go on with it and win a few races. He

Southern Blaze finds his form again!
SOUTHERN BLAZE has always been an impressive looking gelding, always standing out with his big white blaze. He is now a two time winner and can hopefully continue to bring his good work at home to the course. The Global View gelding, now a 4-year-old is lightly raced. He had a very good start to his career with an impressive maiden win at the second time of asking. Since then has been somewhat disappointing and inconsistent and certainly was not bringing his work to the cours

Princess Philippa keeps the stable rolling!
PRINCESS PHILIPPA notched up her 2nd career win in good style and dug down deep when it mattered most. It was a well timed ride by Diego De Gouveia who returned to the saddle aboard this filly where he had won on her back in November last year. It looked like a very open and competitive race, the favourite being stable companion Bella Rosa, who should hopefully also end up in the winners box soon. Apart from one "bad" run, the Silvano filly has never been far off in any of he

Perfect start to the new season!
Two smart 3-year-old fillies lined up for the stable at the Vaal on Thursday and both of them arrived in the winners enclosure, a perfect start to the new season! FEATHER BOA was the first to of the pair to run. The stable expected the filly to win and even though she was up against the boys, her class was going to pull her through, and she did exactly that. Her very strong form lines made sure she was priced up as the favourite, and with some bookies offering 13/10, this see
