A confident Passing Storm!
The stable came into the 2400m maiden plate with a lot of confidence. Passing Storm had been showing some good work at home and made a lot of natural improvement. He showed that he can definitely stay the distance and it will be interesting to see what further improvement he has to come in his post maiden run. LADY NICA fought on gamely to win her maiden in the first race at Turffontein, this also being the exciting Summer Cup meeting. She is lightly raced and has shown glimpses of promise in some of her previous starts but never really put it together when it counted.
