Sea Ways has it his way!
There was a lot of confidence coming into SEA WAYS ' race at Turffontein yesterday. The 3-year-old colt by Ashaawes was only a R15 000 purchase by Mr Ackerman. He has been ultra consistent and was well overdue for his first win. He has the tendencies to come out the pens slow and always ends up making the ground at the finish. The step up in trip and the combination of him jumping out the pens to position himself well was most promising to see. Deigo de Gouveia had him relaxe


Group 2 success for Anything Goes!
Saturday's race looked like it would be ANYTHING GOES toughest challenge yet, as she was needing to take on some older hard knocking sorts, but her class prevailed! Keeping an undefeated record adds on to the pressure, especially five in a row and in a group race. The stable were very confident though and with her natural progression, she would be right there in the shake up. The pole position draw is always such a benefit.
