Ulla closes off the season!
Pettigrew racing stables have ended off the current 2018/2019 season with a winner at Turffontein yesterday. ULLA, who won the 4th race, now makes her a five time winner. She shows heart, guts, and digs down deep when it counts. The 3-year-old daughter of Querari seems to be getting stronger and better with age and her 4-year-old career could see her notch up a couple more wins hopefully! Well done to all involved, all loyal supporters of the game who enjoy their racing. Mess

Back to back for American Indian.
A very small but competitive field saw AMERICAN INDIAN win the 5th Race at Turffontein yesterday. He dug down deep to add another win to his career, making him a seven time winner. He has won two of these since joining the yard from just three starts and is showing that he is getting better and stronger with age. Solid form and performances like this have helped keep the stable tick over this season, which is nearly at it's end. All this cannot be achieved without the support

KING OF THE DELTA helped the stable tick along on Thursday by winning the lucky last at the Vaal. It was a gutsy win as he fought off all challenges until the line. He is obviously no star but always puts in a decent effort, and although he may sometimes not earn a stake, he is never far off them. This win is well deserved and if he is able to keep fighting on in these sort of race

Rock A Roll Dancer keeps the weekend rolling.
ROCK A ROLLER DANCER decided to keep the high of the stable, following the Grade 3 win on July day with Walter Smoothie. As game as they come, the 3-year-old filly by Seventh Rock notched up her fourth career victory from just ten starts. She is well above average and has been getting better with every run. She is not the biggest of fillies, but what she lacks in size she gains in heart and has a great turn of foot which is a big attribute to have in a racehorse. Well done to

The Gold Vase belongs to Walter Smoothie!
WALTER SMOOTHIE embraced the eyes of the crowd and came to the course with some big match temperament. July day is where any good horse wants to be and where every owner, trainer and jockey would love to win a graded race! Walter won the first leg of a record breaking pick-six pool and added a Grade 3 victory to his career, now making him a six time winner. He had been putting up some great work at home and he had also traveled exceptionally well. The final step was to bring
