Nightwatchman is maybe one to watch!

The stable was very happy with NIGHTWATCHMAN's first run who took a slightly unconventional route of running an 1800 metres first time out, which saw him running on nicely. Saturday's race was over 1600 metres, which the stable believed might be a bit sharp for him, however it was not the strongest of fields and he was always in with a winning chance. He seemed to still be quite immature in the running and only got going late to win a nice race under the hands of Gunter Wrogemann. Once he goes over some more ground and matures a bit more he might be the type of progressive sort to win a couple of races. Savannah King blows them away!

The weather held back allowing a full day of racing to go ahead. The lucky last let SAVANNAH KING add another win to the stable's tally. Most of the credit still needs to go to the 3-year-old son of Gimmethegreenlight who dug down deep, showed his class and proved the traits of a top racehorse in the making. This was a stepping stone for the Gauteng guineas and his ultimate mission,
