Ekuseni keeps the ball rolling for the stable!

It was a good inclusion to a long weekend. Ekuseni won Race 2 at Turffontein on Saturday. This was only his third run following a good two runs previously, finishing a 3rd and a 2nd. He seems to be coming along the right way and might be a sort that has a couple of win to give all involved some enjoyment. Well done to owners M r Craig Chetty, Terry Kung and Anton Marx! Red Indy was in the same race and also didn't disgrace, finishing 4th and only beaten 1.60 lengths. He will be due for a win very soon. This was the fourth winner for the month of September for the stable and we hope the run may continue for as long as possible. Another thanks to sponsor - HOLLYWOODBETS!

Elusive Flyer - back to winning ways!

ELUSIVE FLYER notched up his third win at Turffontein on Saturday. It was a long wait for him to come back to winning ways, but with patient owners like Mr Bernie Lane and Mr Paul Marks, it gave them something to celebrate and congratulations to them! His merit rating was too high and took him a long time to get to a point where he could be competitive enough to win again. If he is treated well after this win, he will certainly have another win left in him. This gives the stable win number three for the month of September and six for the season to date. We hope that the good streak of win/places continues ! Another thank you to sponsor - HOLLYWOODBETS.

Walter Smoothie wins for stable's new owner!

WALTER SMOOTHIE opened up the first leg of the Pick 6 yesterday at Turffontein. It was only his second run after a promising debut when running a good 3rd. He only got into gear the last 100m to get up and win a nice race. He has never showed much at home but is a big, stunning looking colt and it might just be his type of temperament to be laid back at home and bring it to the course when it counts. The way he won gives the impression that he will go a lot further and might have a nice future ahead of him. The stable is so pleased that the win was for a new patron of the stable, Mr Eric Smith. Mr Smith has been involved for many years but this is his first horse with the stable and we hope

Gutsy win for Secret Star!

The FOR THE LADIES STAKES went to SECRET STAR on Saturday who showed all guts to get up on the post. At top weight she had it all to do and needed to turn some form around with some of the other fillies in the race. It was a brilliant ride by Striker Strydom to help get her nose in front were it counts! This win now makes her a 6 time winner and we are hoping that she continues to go from strength to strength. Now that she has matured a bit and settles a bit easier, she may take on a distance slightly further which will open up more doors for her in the near future. A very big congratulations to Mr Ian van Schalkwyk on another win. The ongoing support is of owners makes it all possible. The
