Emmeline cracks her maiden win.
Race 4 at Turffontein on Saturday saw EMMELINE run on nicely to get up and win. She seems to be quite the erratic sort and only puts her best foot forward when she feels like it on the day. She ran a good couple of places which was nice to keep her going and wait for her win to come along. It was a perfect ride by Gunter Wrogemann who seems to get on with the filly well. Well done to Mr Mike Winstanley who has been patient enough to see the filly put her best foot forward. W

Two winners at the Vaal - A nice start to the season!
It was nice to see a great start to the season for the stable with a double at the Vaal yesterday! The first winner was by SURCHARGE in Race 6. He has just turned 3 years old and followed up his juvenile win in good fashion, now making him a 2 time winner from just 3 starts. He needed to shoulder top weight against some older campaigners and had his work cut out for him, however it wa s his class that pulled him through to win going away.
